Linda Laurello, CEO of Delta Railroad Services launches community-centric program to ignite and inspire the careers of local next generation leaders
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ASHTABULA, OH — Today, Linda Laurello, CEO of Delta Railroad Services announced the CEO FOR A DAY initiative, an open invitation for next-generation high school, college, and early stage career professionals to gain exposure to Executive leadership in the C-Suite.
Linda added “The importance of this initiative is not only to authenticate the CEO experience for next generation leaders, but to help teach an important lesson about leadership. As a CEO, it is especially important for me to remind young talent just how much they bring to the table in business and leadership in all industries. Applicants and nominees will gain valuable “behind the curtain” insights into executive level decision making skills and exposure to the breadth of important inner workings of successful business.”
Individuals who apply or are nominated by their peers will be considered to become the CEO FOR A DAY of Delta Railroad Services which includes:
A full day onsite hosted by Linda Laurello, CEO of Delta Railroad Services
A private tour of the headquarters and operational overview from members of #TeamDelta
Briefings with various department heads
A lunch-and-learn on the inner workings of business, life, and leadership with Linda Laurello
Sit in one of Delta Railroad Services newest Maintenance of Way (MoW) equipment (photo op)

THE APPLICATIONS/ NOMINATIONS DEADLINE is June 1st, 2025
Candidates will be made aware week of June 2nd, 2025
The CEO Initiative for a day will take place from 9:00am-5:00pm Friday, June 20th, 2025

The SUBMISSION FORM will ask applicants and nominees for:
(1) Current academic or employment status (student, school, employed, graduation year, etc.)
(2) Your interest in Executive Level leadership, and
(3) How you would define your leadership style. (appx 50-75 words)
Candidates must identify as a “next generation leader” - all ages are welcome
