Railroad Construction and Engineering

Whether we are laying track through rural landscape or traversing city streets, rebuilding old track or constructing new, the Delta team is expert at installing even the most complex rail systems.

Delta Railroad construction uses state-of-the-art track construction equipment run by highly trained operators with many years of experience. Our operators regularly attend equipment manufacturers' training sessions to learn how to operate new or upgraded equipment.

Project Management

We coordinate our activities with our clients and other site contractors to ensure timely delivery of service with minimal disruption. We take pride in our work, from preparation, to installation to clean-up. The Delta team is flexible and responsive when unforeseeable problems arise during construction. The appropriate equipment and materials are delivered when needed to keep projects on track.

Flash-butt Welding System

Delta Railroad Construction is the only private contractor that provides its own portable flash-butt welding system for continuous welded rail. The system is fully contained on a specially designed trailer that can be delivered to the site and used on-rail. The system provides time and cost savings to the client. Track Maintenance and Rehabilitation

Delta's experts are available to consult on any track issues. Our team can provide ongoing maintenance or one-time rehabilitation to worn or damaged track.

Equipment Repair and Remanufacturing

We keep our own equipment in like-new condition for top performance at our subsidiary maintenance facility in Saybrook, Ohio.
